How we review

Every review on this site is of something we have in our hands. We wear it, wash it and measure it before we write a word. Here is the method, so you can judge our verdicts.

Buying

We pay for almost everything we review, and the review states the price we paid in PKR and, where we ordered from abroad, in pounds or dollars. If a brand sends something free, the review says "gifted" at the top. Brands never see a review before it goes live, and paying us does not change a verdict.

Measuring

We lay each garment flat and measure chest (armpit to armpit), length (highest point of the shoulder to the hem) and hip, in inches. Every measurement goes into the size guide with the date we took it.

Wash tests

Where a piece is meant to be washed, we wash it the way the label says, note how many washes we did, whether the colour ran, and how much it shrank. We compare against an unwashed swatch or the first photo we took.

Photos

All review photos are our own, taken on the piece we bought. We do not use brand photos, stock photos or AI-generated images in reviews. Every review has at least four photos.

Verdicts

• Buy: worth the full price.
• Wait for sale: good, but not at full price.
• Skip: something went wrong that a discount does not fix.

Updates

When something changes after a review goes live, such as the colour fading after more washes, we update the review and its date.
